  2. "The song "Hello" from the album Ballads and Blues does not appear on this CD due to time restrictions." This is the info I got on the CD AFTER I bought it. Any fan of Bags will be sorely disappointed that the beautiful duet with Lucky Thompson and Milt is absent. Luckily for me I have the original album, which, of course, I have downloaded to CD.4/5(3).

  3. First, I am reviewing the album titled Bags & Flutes, which is cross-linked to a different CD album. Milt Jackson's ability to perform in practically any musical context is amply shown in his body of work. He refused to be type cast as a chamber jazz musician based on his role with the Modern Jazz Quartet/5(7).

  7. referencing Ballads & Blues, CD, Album, Mono, RE, RM, Pap, AMCY This is all nice enough, well executed, fairly laid back, middle of the road stuff. "Bright Blues" is the stand out track, I also like the rendition of "Solitude", the rest is all just OK as background music, nothing outstanding.
